Every carrier uses the A2161 model so far so if this is unlocked it should work for any US carrier. Is there some other reason it won't?

I’m just going off what I remember from back in the days. The phone is GSM unlocked. I haven’t tried a Verizon or sprint SIM card because I don’t have one. I just rather be safe than sorry.

Actually you are 100% correct, I just used a friends verizon sim and it works. It will work with any carrier!
