Would you do 200?

Oct 25, 2019 - 11:50 AM

Hi, would you be willing to meet instead of shipping for a little less on the phone? Thanks.

Melanie, $245?

Also looking at a pixel 2 so 210 souls be as far as I'd go, also considering a 6T is about the same price as this

Hi Renny, are you able to tell me what the battery health is currently? If it's in good condition, I'd be able to come pick it up today. If you're able to send me a private message, I could give you my phone number.

I'm running one more round of battery testing to verify its health now and will let you know. Swappa doesn't provide the ability for private communication until after the purchase has been made.

From my own personal experience, I would do my best to only charge up to 80% before going to sleep, then unplug it. It would then last throughout the next working day. I rarely let it get below 20% before charging.

Tests are positive. As long as you're not a heavy user, I believe it should last.
Using AccuBattery, it reports nearly 4 hours of screen time, 18.75 hours of sleep time, and 14 hours mixed. I would estimate lower on all that with regular usage.

Hi Renny, thank you so much for checking that. My son had decided against the phone for now but I really appreciate you responding and looking into the battery question.

Hi, would you do $220 now?

Oct 30, 2019 - 07:23 PM

Hi, did you keep the phone in a case during most of your usage? Any screen protector?

Renny Y. Seller
Oct 30, 2019 - 07:28 PM

I had a screen protector on it and the screen is not damaged.

I kept it in a case, which was more functional than protective.

Oct 31, 2019 - 02:08 PM

Good to hear. Any cases included?

The case I used had a kickstand, which broke, so I'm not including that. Everything in the last posted image is what I'm selling. I could try to find the original case that came with it, but it's not great.

Oct 31, 2019 - 02:50 PM

Understandable! Since you're using Accubattery, would you mind sharing the battery health estimate? Thanks for answering all my questions.

Oct 31, 2019 - 02:51 PM

Also, is that a UK charger + a generic UK-> US adapter?

Renny Y. Seller
Oct 31, 2019 - 02:58 PM

Yes. Being the international version, that's what it came with. The adapter was a nice extra.

Regarding the AccuBattery stats, is what I mentioned about not what you are looking for (8th comment from the top)

Oct 31, 2019 - 03:30 PM

That estimate is based on user patterns. If you go to the Health tab, there's an estimated capacity which would be great to know.

Unfortunately, I had only installed AccuBattery recently to evaluate the phone. I have factory reset the phone, so even if I had used AccuBattery, there would be no historical data. Right now the values are blank.

Nov 01, 2019 - 02:34 PM

After thinking about it some more, I don't think I want to deal with the converter with the charger. Thanks, tho!

You don't have to use the UK charger. I use an only pixel charger. You just need USB C-type for the phone

An old pixel charger**
