Any warranty left?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 02, 2019 - 08:01 PM

The warranty is valid until 6/25/2020.

Oct 07, 2019 - 06:01 PM

hey max! willing to shop internationally?

Oct 07, 2019 - 08:18 PM

Please post a screenshot showing the battery cycle count.

Oct 07, 2019 - 09:04 PM

*ship?

I will bear the cost of course, but if you don't want the hassle i have a post-forwarding address you can ship to

- Oct 08, 2019 - 11:10 AM

can we see the battery cycle count?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 08, 2019 - 11:54 AM

I will post the battery cycle account later today when I'm near the machine. It has gone through very few cycles.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 08, 2019 - 06:27 PM

I've added an image showing cycle count, charge capacity, etc., snipped from the output of powercfg /batteryreport

Oct 11, 2019 - 08:29 PM

I can buy this as soon as tomorrow. I just want to know, why is the battery count so low, yet everything else is completely ‘fine’?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 11, 2019 - 08:48 PM

Great. I think a low cycle count means that it hasn’t gone through many cycles. It means the battery is almost new. Which is true!

I think if you click the “buy” button, we then get a chance to exchange info (PayPal, shipping, etc.). I don’t see a way to exchange contact info in a non-public way here. What other kinds of details do you want to discuss?

Yikes, welp scratch that then.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 11, 2019 - 11:29 PM

Sam Y.: thanks for the clarification! If you have any other questions about the laptop, I'm happy to answer here. Otherwise, we can coordinate once you decide to buy.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 11, 2019 - 11:30 PM

I mean: through the Swappa-sanctioned mechanism. I've done it before (it goes through PayPal) and it works well.

Oct 12, 2019 - 10:07 AM

Good morning Max, do you know where I can send an Offer for this?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 10:58 AM

If you mean negotiating about the price, it happens here in the comments. We can agree on something, I then change the price (if necessary), and you click “Buy Now”.

Oct 12, 2019 - 11:41 AM

Alright, but once we do agree on something. Please wait until I send a confirmation for you to change the price — I just don’t want you to change it when I’m not ready yet and somebody else swoops in and buys my Negotiation Price.

Oct 12, 2019 - 11:44 AM

Anyways, the price now is $775... so my first Offer will be for $500 (lowest)

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 11:59 AM

I have to factor in shipping and insurance on the package, as well as a cut taken by Swappa. I’m pretty comfortable with $775, but I could see maybe going down to $750. This thing is in unusually excellent condition.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 12:22 PM

Also, to be clear, I can’t stop anyone from buying this at any time. We could negotiate a nice price and someone could buy it before you click. Even though that would suck, there’s nothing I can do to prevent that. You could just buy it right now and save yourself the stress. 😉

Oct 12, 2019 - 12:47 PM

I actually hope that does not happen! ^^ Especially since I’m buying this today. You could just increase the amount to something insanely high that nobody would buy though and then once the price is settled, just change it to that.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 01:31 PM

If you agree to, say $740, we could do this: you pay the $775 and I refund you $30 (through PayPal). This requires you to trust me, which is usually a bad idea on the internet. But if you’re willing to do that, we can avoid the “price change dance”.

Oct 12, 2019 - 01:50 PM

Huh? Did you not read anything that I wrote?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 02:17 PM

I read it. You can buy this today at a price we negotiate or not. I’m not going to play games to keep this off the market until until you decide what you want to do. I’m happy to sell this to you if we can agree on a price. Honestly, I think it’s unlikely someone will swoop in at the last second, anyway. Let’s just figure out what makes sense to us.

Oct 12, 2019 - 03:11 PM

I let you know my situation and the most reasonable price, since the Surface Laptop 3 (New Model) is officially releasing this month. $700 is only $75 lower than your original set price. You’re still gaining a lot of money, and it’s still in your $700 price range.

If we can both agree on $700, then there’s no reason why I wouldn’t buy it today!

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 03:19 PM

How about tossing me a tiny bone and doing $720? That way I can save a little face.

Oct 12, 2019 - 03:36 PM

Let me ask you this: Are you planning on upgrading to the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3?

Oct 12, 2019 - 04:26 PM

Bit of a delay...

Oct 12, 2019 - 07:57 PM

Where in the world did you disappear to?...

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 07:57 PM

I think the post expires today. Are you interested in continuing this conversation? I could extend it.

Oct 12, 2019 - 08:16 PM

So you intentionally were not responding...

Max L. Seller
- Oct 12, 2019 - 08:36 PM

No. I have a family and was doing family things today. I was occasionally checking in and seeing very little progress toward settling this. I do not appreciate your assumptions and the way you are addressing me, but I am trying to be patient with you.

Oct 12, 2019 - 09:51 PM

I mean I asked a question and you didn’t respond for +3 Hours so I was just wondering what happen — I apologize if I was being rude.

Like I said though $700 is a good set price and I can pay that, just to be save though you should extend the time.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 13, 2019 - 11:27 AM

I extended the listing. I am ok with $700 for the machine itself, but I believe packing, shipping, and insurance could get a little steep. This is the reason I’m not quite comfortable with $700 for our overall transaction. If you can chip in $20 for shipping, etc., we have a deal.

Oct 13, 2019 - 12:39 PM

Are you able to edit the price for the Listing

Max L. Seller
- Oct 13, 2019 - 12:58 PM

I’ll do it now.

Oct 13, 2019 - 01:08 PM

Who are you shipping with — and make sure it’s expedited for that extra 20.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 13, 2019 - 03:23 PM

I’ll make sure you get $20 of shipping and insurance. Once you buy we will settle the shipper, etc.

- Oct 13, 2019 - 06:19 PM

I'll buy at 720. A lot of back and forth but I'll wait a couple of hours as a courtesy.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 13, 2019 - 06:28 PM

Thank you!

Oct 13, 2019 - 06:39 PM

I’m buying tonight.

Oct 13, 2019 - 06:41 PM

I’ve just been doing work all day, so give me time.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 13, 2019 - 10:03 PM

Steve G.: as far as I’m concerned, if this hasn’t closed in the next two hours it’s yours.

Oct 13, 2019 - 11:27 PM

Steven and Max. A lot came up tonight and it was a hectic, busy day. That’s why I couldn’t make the payment.

Steven, I truly appreciate the time courtesy you’ve given me, and if a payment isn’t made by 3pm (Eastern Time) 10/14/2019 then it’s all yours... I hoped that there wasn’t a person to swoop and attempt to take this Offer from me but I guess that’s what I get?

Oct 13, 2019 - 11:28 PM

Life comes up and happens — but like I said: if the Listing is still up by 3PM Eastern it’s yours. I should be able to have it bought by then though for sure.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 14, 2019 - 02:13 PM

It’s now past 3 PM Eastern time. Steven G (or anyone else), please feel free to act on this.

Oct 14, 2019 - 05:33 PM

Alright Max, I have been waiting for my check to clear, it was supposed to be today that’s why I stated that I’d buy it but I just talked with my bank and it’ll be in tomorrow. I’m buying tomorrow 100% (October 15, 2019) !!

Oct 14, 2019 - 05:36 PM

$720 firm price I, Divine WILL actually buy on 10/15/2019. I know you’re frustrated but don’t worry I got it, please don’t attempt sell to anybody else - it’s for my school man, that’s why I really want to buy, the condition is ‘PRISTINE’ as you Listed so hopefully it lasts me for years to come!

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 01:40 PM

Can you confirm when you will actually complete the purchase? You first claimed that you would buy this laptop on October 12. It also looks like you are driving other potential buyers away. Some clarity would be appreciated.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 01:45 PM

Steven G., or anyone else, please put me out of my misery. This is an amazing deal!

Oct 15, 2019 - 02:46 PM

Why are you selling it?

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 02:57 PM

Work provided me with a different machine, and there’s a limit to the number of computers I can use. I want this baby to find a happy home.

Oct 15, 2019 - 03:16 PM

Yes Max, I am confirming. I also didn’t have access to my account so I apologize again to Brock of Swappa and to you Max L...

I’m connecting my PayPal to my account and buying now. Thank you for your patience all of these days.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 04:28 PM

Any progress? It shouldn’t take long to connect to PayPal and click a button.

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 07:28 PM

Ok, it sure feels like I’m being trolled here. Can someone who actually wants and will use this beautiful laptop please just buy it? Divine E is clearly not serious about this and is only harassing me. I’m not sure what I did to deserve that kind of treatment.

Oct 15, 2019 - 08:29 PM

I will buy it tomorrow morning for 670

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 09:00 PM

I’ve already lowered the price significantly. How about just taking advantage of the concessions I already made to Divine E?

Oct 15, 2019 - 09:55 PM

Dang, i'll bite at an even 7.

Oct 15, 2019 - 09:58 PM

I don’t know what kind of concessions you did, I’m telling you that I can pay 670, if you agree okay if not thanks anyway

Max L. Seller
- Oct 15, 2019 - 10:14 PM

Matias R.: sorry about that, I just realized that you didn’t see the whole price history while Divine wore me down!

Jose L.: I’ll lower the price to 700.
