I will post the battery cycle account later today when I'm near the machine. It has gone through very few cycles.

I can buy this as soon as tomorrow. I just want to know, why is the battery count so low, yet everything else is completely ‘fine’?

Great. I think a low cycle count means that it hasn’t gone through many cycles. It means the battery is almost new. Which is true!

I have to factor in shipping and insurance on the package, as well as a cut taken by Swappa. I’m pretty comfortable with $775, but I could see maybe going down to $750. This thing is in unusually excellent condition.

Also, to be clear, I can’t stop anyone from buying this at any time. We could negotiate a nice price and someone could buy it before you click. Even though that would suck, there’s nothing I can do to prevent that. You could just buy it right now and save yourself the stress. 😉

I actually hope that does not happen! ^^ Especially since I’m buying this today. You could just increase the amount to something insanely high that nobody would buy though and then once the price is settled, just change it to that.

If you agree to, say $740, we could do this: you pay the $775 and I refund you $30 (through PayPal). This requires you to trust me, which is usually a bad idea on the internet. But if you’re willing to do that, we can avoid the “price change dance”.

I read it. You can buy this today at a price we negotiate or not. I’m not going to play games to keep this off the market until until you decide what you want to do. I’m happy to sell this to you if we can agree on a price. Honestly, I think it’s unlikely someone will swoop in at the last second, anyway. Let’s just figure out what makes sense to us.

I let you know my situation and the most reasonable price, since the Surface Laptop 3 (New Model) is officially releasing this month. $700 is only $75 lower than your original set price. You’re still gaining a lot of money, and it’s still in your $700 price range.

If we can both agree on $700, then there’s no reason why I wouldn’t buy it today!

No. I have a family and was doing family things today. I was occasionally checking in and seeing very little progress toward settling this. I do not appreciate your assumptions and the way you are addressing me, but I am trying to be patient with you.

I extended the listing. I am ok with $700 for the machine itself, but I believe packing, shipping, and insurance could get a little steep. This is the reason I’m not quite comfortable with $700 for our overall transaction. If you can chip in $20 for shipping, etc., we have a deal.
