You mentioned "short life" Do you have any proof of purchase date or would you be willing to provide S/N so we can see how much warranty is left? I understand "short life" can be subjective.
"Short life" was a useless choice of expression, I agree! I just checked the serial number on Apple's website and the year's warranty was activated on March 25 2019. I will be held to the accuracy of this as I had to submit the serial number to Swappa before advertising for sale. I hope this helps!
Just to be clear, Apple Warranty expires March 25 2020 according to Apple.
