Hello Walter, I do the replacements using original apple parts. Every listing I sell is refurbished by me using oem apple parts or apple.
Why does the SSD show 250gb instead of 256gb?
Drive formatting takes a small amount of storage as a cache. All drives that have been formatted will have a little less than the full capacity of the drive.
