The other fair condition phones that you are referring to might have more visible scratches. This one is a good condition phone, listed in fair because of the burn.
Can you confirm that this is the Google Edition and not the Verizon Edition? You can tell by going to Developer Options and checking if Enable OEM Unlocking is *not* greyed out
