Locked to T-Mobile, but is fully paid for so should not be an issue for you to request unlocking. No repairs ever done or were necessary. Don't believe there is apple warranty left.

No issues with battery life at all. Again this phone was only used a few months before I upgraded and has been untouched for many more months since upgrading.

Bought the phone in May/June 2018, but upgraded to newer phone in November 2018 and so this has been unused since then. There are no defects whatsoever. What are you offering?
