At this time, I can't take any lower than the list price. Value is added to the product through the warranty I offer.

As for why I am selling, I run an ecommerce business (mainly through ebay), so I sell things for a living. I recently found swappa, and I am enjoying the platform so far.

I am really interested in this laptop, however for the age that it is, I do feel that it is severely overpriced. Plus the fact that the last 2015 1 TB Mac sold here on swappa for just over 750$. Also I’m not sure I see any value in your “warranty” especially on these private sale sites. Say the logic board craps out in a year, (has has been documented to happen in these models) am I supposed to mail it back to you and you refund me? Are you going to send me money to fix it? Am I going to get your personal email and or phone number to hit up if something does go wrong? Or am I going to be stuck messaging you on swappa praying you reply. Please explain how that whole process would work. Otherwise no offense, but a stranger that will likely be difficult to get ahold of should something go wrong offering a “warranty” has no value to me as a consumer. I get that you are in this from a business perspective and you gotta make your $.

But considering I can get a 2019 Mac that will probably have similar if not higher benchmarks then this computer for another $150 - $200 more. You really are a bit high price wise. I really would love to take this off your hands. But would need the price to be AT LEAST under 1k to justify it.

Taking your concerns into account, I have lowered the price and updated the description. I can not comfortably offer a warranty at this price. But it is fine if you do not want one. This would be my lowest price possible. One thing I dislike about swappa is that they report sales based on SSD size rather than hardware configuration, so it is a bit unfair to compare the two.

The price is more than fair. If you do not like it, that is ok. But the average sold for this exact computer on ebay over the past month is $1100. This is more than fair. Let me know of you have any questions, but lowering the price is not possible.
