We purchased these laptops for our business which is no longer a business. This is brand new, not used, and still sealed. This macbook was taken out of the box with its internal seal. As you can see in the photos that the original seal is intact and will remain sealed. The box was recycled so this does not come with a box but it does come with original seal.
Retails for exactly $2791.48 this is $400.00+ savings. The only difference between this MacBook and one in a box….is the box. You should ask is the box is worth $400?
No applecare was purchased. That is your option to purchase. I believe the cost is $379 according to apple’s web site.

Interested. Btw your algebra is a bit off as basically everyone can get apple education discount which also includes a $350 worth headphones so your price might be above the net price (if you sell the headphones for instance) versus a sealed machine with full warranty, and return period.
$2791.48 is what we paid on amazon which included tax.
thanks. yes I never meant to doubt what you paid, I was trying to make a simple point that in terms of alternatives that most people have, your "400+ savings" might be optimistic. but I am interested, I will keep an eye and if you were to lower the price in the following weeks I will be back.

Why is it listed as good instead of mint? Are there any scratches on the actual laptop?
Swappa does not allow you to post New or Mint without a box that is why it is listed under Good. There are no scratches because it is sealed, brand new and never been used.
