The battery holds a charge (889 cycle count) although the current longevity is not as good as original and is not guaranteed. (battery may need replacing in the future). Prospective buyers should keep in mind. The hard drive has been freshly reformatted and macOS Mojave installed. The item has been tested and is fully functional.
