Warranty is attached to the serial number. So info doesn’t need to be transferred.
Gotcha. Apple has refused to honor warranty with me before due to laptop warranty not being in my name. They required warranty to be transferred into my name in order to service machine under warranty.
Gotcha, I deal with Apple all time and never ran into such an issue. The only way they would ask for a receipt is if the repair is not covered under you warranty in some cases but very rarely.
