Is the pricing firm on this? A i7 with 512gb recently sold for $900

No, it's just covering the shipping cost since I'm in Canada.

I've lowered the cost to $900. I can't do more than that because of international shipping.

May 19, 2019 - 12:06 PM

I found a better deal online. Thanks anyways

I'm from Toronto so you don't have to ship internationally. What's the best price can you do?

Fulbring @XDA Seller
- May 21, 2019 - 07:51 AM

I can reduce it by 30$

- May 21, 2019 - 12:51 PM

i7 and 16GB are selling for $900 on here and on ebay. I think you will have to lower it a lot more. Price seems to be tanking with the recent huawei news

Whats your offer? Huawei news got nothing to do with their products lol.

May 21, 2019 - 01:37 PM

Microsoft will soon be blocking updates to Huawei laptops. How does that not have anything to do with their products? Google has already stopped updates to their phones

I don't want to get political here nor do I want to discuss it, but Huawei as a manufacturer is only having trouble in the United States, which is a small margin of their their market. The world doesn't revoke around the United States. There are facts that can prove how foolish American is acting when it comes to banning Huawei products. It will only affect the US more than the company itself. On that note however, the ban has been temporarily lifted. This doesn't take away from the fact that their products are well made and reliable now.

Also, if you wanna buy it, then do so. If not, have a wonderful day!

- May 24, 2019 - 11:51 AM

Fulbring, your assessment is incorrect. Huawei is barred from doing business with any American company, including Microsoft; Microsoft makes Windows. It doesn't matter if your would-be buyer is American or not; Windows updates will be barred from Huawei computers worldwide. So the Huawei news has everything to do with the US-China trade war. You are selling a laptop that cannot and will not receive updates. How you choose to adjust the price based on that, if at all, is obviously up to you, but your perspective on the trade war and how it affects Huawei products, like the one you are selling, is objectively wrong.

@Todd. Not everyone agree with everyone else. I'm not an American so I don't really care much for it. I think the US is going to get hurt with all this regardless. As for what Huawei is doing. Most of the American companies have been doing for decades. They just weren't/aren't aware of it.

- May 24, 2019 - 12:15 PM

I'm not disagreeing with any of what you just said. But the point still is that the laptop you're selling is not going to get Windows updates while the Huawei ban is upheld.

Fair enough. That's definitely a concern people have but you can ALWAYS do it manually and its fully legal to do so. So if people are willing, then sure. If not, then they can buy something else! :D

May 24, 2019 - 03:15 PM

Just bought a i7, 512gb on a very popular auction site for $800. Prices will be dropping soon for these laptops because of all the companies halting support for Huawei products. You might be able to update windows manually but if Intel or Microsoft decide to block driver updates, you would be screwed.
