1) Are the SSD and battery original to the machine?
2) I see the System Information "Storage" screenshot lists two 500GB volumes, is that because it is a 1TB SSD which has been partitioned, or are there two physical drives in the machine?

Tom.. yes they’re original. It’s 500gb internal and then the secondary. Not 1 TB split. I’m not a MacBook expert, but happy to answer any questions.

How is the secondary storage installed? Is it a flush-fit SD card like JetDrive, or something else? Picture from System Profiler showing that drive info would be great.
That cycle count is really low. Can you post a picture of the Power section of System Info? Wondering what the charge capacity / battery health is like.
