Damage Description

I have attempted to take great care of this system (as I do with all of my electronics), unfortunately about a year ago it slipped out of my hands and fell onto concrete from about 3' up. It landed on the corner and shattered a corner of the screen and put some dings and scuffs on the laptop shell itself (see pictures). I have replaced the entire upper screen assembly, and it has worked 100% perfectly fine since. When I replaced the screen, I ensured there was no internal damage, as the shell absorbed the impact.

According to coconutBattery tool, the maximum battery capacity is still holding strong at 83.4%, and I can get around 7-8 hours of use. This Mac has been used daily, but not very heavily. Most use was from web browsing and using the built-in Apple apps (Photos, Messages, etc.), and the battery level rarely dropped below 50%. The charger also had started fraying in some spots, which I covered with electrical tape. A new charger would be ~$60, but this one still works fine.

2015 13" MacBook Pro 128GB/8GB RAM + Charger/box/packaging + Thule laptop bag + Extras

Selling used 2015 (Early 2015) 13" MacBook Pro. The Mac was purchased on launch day in April 2015. Includes charger, original box/packaging, and laptop bag made by Thule. This device has served me extremely well but unfortunately I am needing to upgrade for reasons.

This MBP was wiped clean and has a fresh install of macOS Mojave 10.14.4 (latest version at time of posting). In addition, I ensured that the firmware security password was removed.

This deal also includes a Magic Mouse (AA battery version), and the official Apple Thunderbolt 2 --> Ethernet cable adapter, for connecting into a router, switch, or other networked device.

The Thule laptop bag has been discontinued as far as I know, but it is in extremely good shape considering it has been used daily for 4 years. All zippers work perfectly, there are no tears or frays (that I could find), and the straps are in excellent condition as well.

Hi Alicia,

There is no return policy, warranty or "guarantee" per se, but if you look at my seller reviews you will see I am not one to sell bunk or non-working items. This and other technology items I have sold have all been bought brand new by me (unless stated otherwise), used for a period of time by me and me alone, and then sold here. Items that do not work 100% do not get sold. Items that do not sell here or items I cannot sell here go to eBay, Craigslist, or similar. If you will like to see more pictures of it working, or charging, or anything of the sort, please let me know. Also keep in mind there are 3rd party warranty programs such as Square trade that can be purchased for almost anything that cover damage, failures, etc.

Alisha -

Sorry, autocorrect caught your name.

I wanted to add, this laptop did also have AppleCare at the time of purchase, but AppleCare on a Mac lasts for 3 years. During that time, I never had to use AppleCare for any repairs (fortunately). All I can give you is my word and my reputation here that this laptop works normally, again with the only issues being some battery deterioration (due to use over time, this is completely normal and fixable), and the charger having frayed in some spots (another common issue - again fixable, but the charger works fine as is).
