MacBook Pro 2014 (Retina) - 13"

Do you know what the original operating system that was shipped with it? Was it Yosemite or Mavericks?

I believe it was Mavericks! The MacBook is a mid-2014 model and I received it as a gift in December of 2014 if you want to double check.

Yeah, you can also check to see by looking at the manuals, if they have a screenshot of mavericks then it came with it. Also what would be the lowest you’d go?

I just checked the timeline for MacOS (Mac OS X) releases, and am confident that it shipped with Mavericks. What’re you willing to pay?

How about $525? There are a lot of Battery Cycles on the Macbook.

I stand corrected – it shipped running Yosemite. Please reference the photos of the Quick Start Guide and build sheet on the box. I did lower the price down to $575 so hopefully we can close the deal today!

The price has already been reduced twice in the last day. There isn’t a better machine for a lower price available at the price and is a deal at $575.

If it’s any consolation, Mavericks was the initial operating system that shipped with the 11,1 generation. Even though this particular one was purchased after they launched Yosemite, you should still be able to install the Mavericks build on this device. For normal usage, updating to the latest version of MacOS is the best way to enjoy your Mac and the shipping OS doesn’t matter at all.

Can you please do $550?

Could someone please just buy it for $575? There isn’t a better priced machine for the price. It’s top spec, well taken care of, and priced accordingly. Keep in mind fees and shipping get deducted from the sale price and that I’m a college student trying to save for a summer study abroad program. You won’t find a better, more capable device from better seller for less than $575.

Is there apple care+ included?

As this is a 2014 model, any AppleCare coverage has since expired.
