Scratches are not noticeable at all, there is a very small ding on top which you can only see in full lighting and a at a certain angle.

Early 2014, 4GB/128GB. Upgraded to pro, not needed anymore, no issues. Battery brand new used to hold 11 hours of charge, now it is down to 8 hours @750 battery cycle count.
