So, my question is perhaps your computer is 16 gb and the i7?, ? If so, the $1,848 makes more sense

I just looked again at the pic of the box. Your description is correct...So, I'm still not sure about the price discrepancy.

Never mind....I just figured it out....the $1,848 includes AppleCare+

I'm not sure either. I just went through and purchased the computer again online and that's what it comes out to but either way that really doesn't matter as its still a giant savings. It is the i5 and 8GB ram. I don't know why you get a different price. Either way it's still over $800 off the price.

Sure. That’s fine. One possible issue for you. I’m in Columbia until Wednesday morning. I return from vacation around 7pm on Wednesday evening so I won’t be able to ship out until TH or FR.
