It’s locked to sprint, I think you can ask sprint to unlock it after sometimes.

Is the device running 11.3.1 or below? And also only person who can is if they add it to an sprint account and the. Unlock it so since you are the owner you can or I unlock devices but if the phone is on 11.3.1 or below I'll buy right now
