Has the battery degraded in terms of life?
Don't all batteries degrade some over time? I don't have a way to answer that precisely. I've only had the phone one year as it was given by Google as a replacement to a defective Nexus.

Yes, the battery can last all day - clearly that will depend on what you're using it for and how long though.
