What’s cycle count?

Unfortunately the cycle count gets reset after wiping the drive. I just checked my other MacBook which I wiped yesterday and the cycle count shows as 2. Being a year old I suspect that’s greatly exaggerated :) I’m sorry I could not be more helpful but the battery is still in very good shape. Most of the time it was powered and rebooted off power weekly. My guess is under 100

Actually I stand corrected. Sometimes - the cycle count gets reset, while other times it doesn’t. I tested this with another MacBook and the cycle count still showed even after the MacBook was wiped. I’m not sure how this happens/doesn’t happen as I wiped both macs using the same process.

Hi, if you can do $1500 with express shipping I will buy it right now. I would assume minor wear and tear means NO DENTS, none - and no noticeable scratches that would detract from the price. Let me know, thank you kindly.
