Sartaj, I’m willing to drop down to $950 if we end up deciding local. However I want to make sure you are okay with what Brenda replied with above about the local sale and the private messaging. We can’t actually discuss anything until you purchase it according to the rules of Swappa.

@Brenda - Sartaj indicated that he is interested in local pickup. I would be lowering my price on that basis. If post sale this changes, am I entitled to voiding the sale if a local sale falls through?

I believe that would be acceptable. Just be sure to explain it on the sale page so our after sale support staff is aware of the conditions of the sale.

Are warranties transferable? Do you know if Apple will allow secondary market purchaser to extend the warranty?

Hi Robert. The existing warranty transfers with the device itself. I do not know if it can be extended though as I know theres a 60 day limit when you purchase it new. However when I check the status it says "You can purchase AppleCare Protection Plan for Mac by phone or chat."
