2012 MacBook Pro with 500GB SSD and 750GB HDD.
This MacBook has been with me since 2012. It is in immaculate condition other than light scuffs on the bottom. it was used exclusively on a desktop and never spent anytime in a bag or outside my home. Early on I got rid of the DVD drive and installed a 500GB Crucial SSD. I still have the Super Drive if and can reinstall or send it along with the purchase. 3 months ago I replaced the battery as the old one was starting to swell. Charger is still in great shape and included.
It has the following specs:
8GB Ram
1250 Terabytes of storage 512GB SSD, 750GB HDD
Nvidia GeForce GT 650M
Intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB
2.3GHz intel Core i7

Rafael, can you explain to me re: swapping out the dvd drive and putting in ssd? does that mean you have essentially 1250 gb memory? How does that work?
The MacBook came with a DVD-R drive and a 5400 rpm 750GB hard drive. I removed the DVD and installed a 512GB SSD using an adaptor that allows it to sit where the DVD was. The Os is installed in the SSD so the machine boots up almost instantaneously and the 750GB I use for storing my files like photos and my iTunes library. This fast drive along with the Intel quad coreI7 processor make for a pretty fast laptop that doesn’t feel at all like its age.
So yes. There’s roughly 1250GB of storage over two drives.
Are you firm on your price or do you have wiggle room? Thank you for considering.
Make me an offer.
500?

May I ask why you are selling?
I no longer use this as much as I used to and would like to sell before it depreciates any further. I’m using an iPad mostly now.
Would you be able to swap in the 500gb SSD in to the place where the 750gb HDD currently resides and then re-install the DVD drive? Or is the SSD designed to fit only in the space formerly occupied by the DVD drive?
Yes. This can easily be done.

Would you do $500? Immediate payment.

Rafael, I would like to purchase today for $500 if you are interested.
Sorry. Price is firm.
Can I go ahead and purchase your laptop with the agreement that you swap in the 500gb SSD in place of where the 750gb HDD currently resides and then re-install the DVD drive? You can go ahead and keep the 750gb HDD for yourself. Also please check the DVD drive to see if it still works normally after re-installing it and let me know if its functional. If this would be too much work, let me know.
Yes. I can do this, but not until Tuesday the 13th. If you purchase the MacBook I will do it then.
