No I think that is with a performance base if I recall correctly. This is not the performance base version and I dont think it has 965m.

Whats the battery life usually like? Have you had any issues with the pen? I've gone through 2 because the pen starts jiittering sometimes

Battery life is pretty good. Haven't paid close attention but when I play videos and movies it comes close to the advertised life. Maybe little less. Haven't had any issues with Pen and no jitter for me. Still has warranty including accidental damage till Apr 2019. So you could go and exchange easily if you drop or break it

I will change the price to 840 now. I don't understand what you mean by display pixel and graphic card info handy. It has NVidia GPU. Yes the display comes out and it is i5. Also comes with warranty till Apr 2019 and covers accidental damage as per Microsoft terms.

But the photos here are a surface book 2. and the i5 core does not have that graphics card available in my neck of the woods. i cant even determine the machine type yet, but a discrepancy would void warranty full stop. Unless i am looking at a microsoft educator site that is well off. Can you tell me where to ask these types of questions./

You can ask the questions here. This listing is for Microsoft Surface Book. You can read the spec in the description. This Surface Book has Intel i5 Processor and has NVidia Graphics Card. There is no discrepancy and the warranty is valid. What you might be looking in the Microsoft site is Surface Book 2. That spec is different. This is not Surface Book 2.

Yes. The display comes off. Display comes off in all Surface Books. I can upload a picture with the display detached if you would like. My guess is you might be confusing it with Surface Pro?

i cant see the screen and i have apologized for any confusion but you said to post here for questions. I am searching for a phone number for support, but i cant purchase first, ask later. I don't understand what you mean by you can't see the screen. Look at all the photos in this listing. There is two photos with the screen detached. You can copy and paste the Microsoft site link here and I can look at it and help clarify.

Sorry,, you were very annoyed that I had hit submit twice, I meant that I could not see my screen double post! I am back from one lesson and headed to another, The surface book does not have a detachable screen. I am coming in blind here, am not familiar with terms selling points photo upload requests etc. I have not in any way intended any implication in my questions, just know that since I was building my own, devices have changed. I got a surface to test drive (no box no power :)) from retailer (4 gig ) and figured I would add on;. This lead me to discover that the 4 gig could not change and that any move from 3rd party interference will void warranty. This said, I am not sure why the marketplace is different from other arenas, but I had hopes of warm open sourcing, If you could go back and tell me a few things I have v=clearly gotten wrong, it would go a long way to make up from the impression thus far. While you are answering my questions, feel free to say I am off my rocker,

is there any way you can double check the details especially the warranties, there is no phone support and I dont understand charging my account before you and I can discuss particulars.
