Is the RAM upgradable? Is the drive solid state?

Hi Parker,

RAM is upgradeable to 8GB (currently 4 GB) (see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201165)

hard drive is not a solid state, it's a 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive but this can also be upgraded to solid state

well are you willing to reduce the price a little or is it firm? I'm asking because it is close to apple's cycle count for the laptop which is 1000 cycles and I would have to replace the battery myself soon?
