1st Gen HP Chromebook 14 (with 4G SIM card slot) - $90

Selling a 3-year old 1st gen HP Chromebook 14, with 4GB RAM and 16 GB SSD, purchased as refurbished from Walmart in mid-2014. This was the only HP Chromebook 14 sold with a 4G SIM card slot (you can add your own data SIM) and the only one with 4GB of RAM at its debut. This Chromebook has been a 100% SOLID performer for our family from the start. I replaced the 16GB SSD in December 2016 (with the same OEM 16GB SSD) after some intermittent reboot issues surfaced, re-imaged the Chromebook, and there have been ZERO problems since.

This Chromebook still gets between 7-10 hours of usage on one battery charge, depending on tab usage. In addition to the Chromebook itself, you will also receive the original OEM charger, and a clear plastic shell to snap on the upper/lower halves. I no longer have the original packaging -- which is why this listing is classified under "GOOD" condition -- however, the Chromebook itself is in PRISTINE shape with no exterior flaws. Seller will pay shipping.

Hello, how is the screen quality on the Chromebook, are there any screen burn in due to its age? How's the latest update of chrome being handled due to its 3 years age? Any scratches on the screen or exterior?

Hey, Carlos...thanks for the question and for checking out the listing. Screen quality has always been acceptable, at least for me...technically, it's 1366 by 768 pixels with (as most reviews mention, and I'll back up with personal experience) pretty good side-viewing angles. There's zero screen burn-in issues with this Chromebook. Finally, I've never experienced any lag on this HP Chromebook 14, even three years on...part of that is due to the 1.4GHz, dual-core, Intel Celeron 2955U with Intel HD Graphics processor on board, and the other part is due to the 4GB of RAM. Also, there are no scratches or blemishes on either the exterior (which has been in a snap-on cover most of the time, and which will be shipped with this Chromebook) and none on the screen either.
