Which dGPU does it have?
It's an nVidia chip that they made for the Surface Book line.
It compares best to a 940M card.
I can post a screenshot of details later this morning.
Uploaded a dxdiag screenshot showing info about the dGPU.
How long have you had the laptop? How much use did you get out of it and how is the battery life compared to when you bought it?
I've had the laptop since October 2016. I purchased it for work because I thought I'd use the touch screen capabilities. Turns out I didn't really have a use for it. I went back to using an existing MacBook the last couple of months and decided that I preferred the Apple hardware / software package better. The battery charge still holds very well. I was able to get through most of the day with moderate computing (presentations, Microsoft Excel, video conferencing) before I had to plug it in.
Great! How about the warranty? I imagine it's expired since it's been about a year?
Correct, just did the warrant check and it says it is not eligible. https://www.microsoft.com/surface/support/check-warranty
