is this an i5? what makes the condition good and not mint?

Hi Ahmed, yup this is the the base core i5 model. I initially put the condition as good because I've used it for about a year, but after reviewing the definitions for the condition categories it can probably be labeled as mint. There shouldn't be any scratches as far as I've noticed. I just didn't think about it too much when I initially posted it, but I'll update the posting now.

Ah turns out I can't change it to a higher condition category anymore, can only go down.

I know this is a long shot. I was wondering if you would be willing to let it go for $500. I'm currently a college student and am very interested in this laptop for school work. Being a college student money is tight but I do need a laptop for school.

Hi Mark, yes it does include the surface pen but remember it's the previous generation surface pen.

Sorry to clarify, by previous generation I mean that the new surface book 2 and surface pro 2017 have newer pens that have more features (just so you don't get confused).

Hi James, sorry for the late reply I've been busy at work. I was taking a look at eBay at the BIN prices. I took a quick read of the notes/quality of the surface books priced under $750 and there was always something wrong with the surface book whether it was minor damage, missing the pen, one said the battery wasn't working, etc. The closest one I could find that was close to being in good condition and included everything was one for BIN $724.05. The difference with that and my listing is that I'm also including a BASEQI MicroSD adapter that I personally bought for it and am including it in the package.

I'm still willing to negotiate though and would it be enough to go down to $725 (essentially matching the one I mentioned on eBay)?
