Was the battery replaced? If so, by Apple or a third party?
I was told by the person who sold me this phone that it was an insurance replacement from his carrier
Can you follow instructions from this link and verify if the battery has Genuine or Used or Unknown label on it?
Or can you guarantee that the battery is genuine then?
When we go there it doesn’t show anything. It doesn’t even give us a parts or service history for this phone. After doing some research online this is what it showed us:
If there is NO “Parts & Service History” section at all, that almost always means:
The iPhone has never had any Apple-recognized hardware repairs.
So the battery, screen, camera, etc. are all still the original factory parts.
Apple only shows that section after at least one repair has happened.
If nothing was ever replaced, the section simply doesn’t appear.
