Damage Description
Minor wear/scuffs on the edges but no dents larger than ~1mm. All dents are pictured. Screen, keyboard, trackpad, and Touch Bar are all 100% functional with no damage.
Batter condition is "Service Recommended". Cycle count is 590 as of writing this.

Good Condition, Fully Functional, Solid Machine
This MBP has been good to me over the years, but I've upgraded and no longer need it. It's fully functional and running macOS 26.1. Normal (light) wear and tear around the aluminum housing, all pictured in detail. For its age and processor, it still handles compute-heavy workloads pretty well!
What's wrong with it?
- Battery state is "Service Recommended"; running Terminal commands to compute capacity, the battery looks to be at about 51% of OEM max capacity.
- The fans run most of the time the computer is in use. If I had the screw bits needed, I would pop the back off to clear lint and dust out of the fans. My guess is that after a few years of use they are likely running less efficiently than they should.
My take: this is a great desktop unit for light-to-moderate workflow demands. So long as it's plugged in to a power source it still keeps up with newer machines alright. Without a battery replacement, this is not a great portable computer candidate in my opinion.
