Hello, what do you mean by "Will not work with others unless you get the code yourself for other carriers."?
Means I am not sure that will work T Mobile or such others. It is unlocked SM-938U1 for the carriers are advertised as far I understand. Its a band new phone and I haven't verify if in effects will work with others, for which I advertise what I know its 100% correct. Any buyer looking for utilizing it with other carriers will have to get it unlocked for them IF it doesn't work due to not be my responsibility.
Heidi, to help in this where did you buy the phone from (I. e. which carrier or direct from Amazon, Samsung etc.) The model number listed means it's unlocked to any carrier but to clarify where did you purchase it?

Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Network unlock.
Check Status: It will show "Network locked" or "Network unlocked"
Sorry but I cannot go to setting without using the phone which is brand new... I am selling the phone for the networks advertised which will work with. Other than that is out of scope and my hands.
To make this clear, the phone is being sold as described. T Mobile, Verizon and any other network/carrier not advertised is out of scope or my hands. The phone was gifted to me and I am not going to use it.
