The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is the direct successor to the Galaxy S8 Plus. While both phones look similar at first glance, the S9+ offers a year’s worth of upgrades and refinements. The S9+ packs a more powerful Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM across all configurations. The S9+ is better at taking photos, with its improved dual-aperture primary camera and all-new 2x telephoto secondary camera. It also takes better video at up to 4k 60fps or 720p 960fps for super slow motion. The S9+ improves ergonomics with its relocated rear fingerprint sensor, and is available in a variety of new colors such as Sunrise Gold, Titanium Gray, Lilac Purple, Burgundy Red, Ice Blue, and Polaris Blue.
