Pixel 4a

Google announced the Pixel 4a in August 2020. The Pixel 4a features a 5.8-inch FHD OLED+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080. The display also offers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR support, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Pixel 4a is the mid-range model in the Pixel 4 (and 4 XL) lineup, but due to the lower price point, the 4a is often a better option for most people. Highlights of the Pixel 4a include 128GB of storage space, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 3,140 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and a soft-touch polycarbonate unibody design. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with 6GB of RAM and has Pixel Imprint with the Titan M security module. Google equipped the Pixel 4a with an 8MP camera on the front and a 12.2MP camera on the back. The rear camera feature set includes an f/1.7 aperture, Night Sight, Top Shot, Portrait Mode, Live HDR+, Motion Auto Focus, and Frequent Faces.

Pixel 4a 5G

The Pixel 4a 5G was officially announced in September 2020. This model enters the Pixel 4 family, and as the name suggests, supports 5G networks. The Pixel 4a 5G is available in Just Black. However, there is also a Verizon exclusive model in Clearly White. The Verizon model supports mmWave 5G networks, with the non-Verizon model supporting sub-6 5G networks. The Pixel 4a 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. The phone has a soft-touch polycarbonate unibody design, and features a 6.2-inch (2340 x 1080) display, 3,885 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 12.2MP dual-pixel and 16MP ultrawide camera setup on the back. Highlights for the rear camera include Live HDR+, Portrait Mode, Portrait Light, Super Res Zoom, Top Shot, and Night Sight.

Pixel 4

The Pixel 4 was released in October 2019 and arrived featuring a 5.7-inch display with Smooth Display, which allows for a refresh rate up to 90hz. Other hardware features of the Pixel 4 include a Snapdragon 855 processor with the Pixel Neural Core and Titan M security module, 6GB of RAM, options for 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and a 2800 mAh battery that supports fast wireless charging. The Pixel 4 was released with Android 10 and included several new features dealing with the camera. The Pixel 4 added a 16MP telephoto camera alongside the 12.2MP dual-pixel rear camera, and also added camera features such as Frequent Faces, Dual exposure controls, and Motion Sense.

Pixel 3a XL

Google introduced the Pixel 3a family during Google I/O in May 2019. The Pixel 3a family included the regular-sized 3a and the larger sized Pixel 3a XL. The Pixel 3a XL shares most of the features found in the Pixel 3a, with the exceptions being the 3a XL having a larger display and a bigger battery. The Google Pixel 3a XL has a 6.0-inch FDH+ OLED display and a 3700 mAh battery. Otherwise, the Pixel 3a XL feature set includes a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, an 8MP front-facing camera and a 12.2MP dual-pixel camera on the back. Other camera-related features include support for HDR+, Night Sight, Top Shot, and Portrait Mode.

Pixel 3a

Google introduced the Pixel 3a during Google I/O in May 2019. The Pixel 3a was unveiled as a mid-range, and more affordable option compared to the Pixel 3. However, due to the Pixel 3a offering a full-featured camera experience and a 3.5mm headphone jack, the Pixel 3a was released to a welcoming audience. The Pixel 3a features a 5.6-inch display, Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage space. You can also expect to find a 3000 mAh battery, polycarbonate unibody design with Active Edge support, and a camera setup that includes an 8MP on the front, with a 12.2MP dual-pixel camera on the back. The Pixel 3a also supports many of the key Pixel camera features such as Night Sight, Top Shot, Portrait Mode and HDR+.

Pixel 3 XL

The Pixel 3 XL was released in October 2018 along with the standard-sized Pixel 3. The Pixel 3 XL arrived with a 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED with HDR support and running Android 9 Pie. You will find three color options for the Pixel 3 XL: Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink. Other features of the Pixel 3 XL include water resistance, a soft-touch glass back, Active Edge for quick access to the Google Assistant, and a 3430 mAh battery with fast wireless charging. The Pixel 3 XL is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor, has 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a camera setup that includes a 12.2MP dual-pixel on the back with an 8MP wide-angle and a regular 8MP on the front.

Pixel 3

Google released the Pixel 3 in October 2018. The Pixel 3 arrived in three color options: Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink. The phone had a soft-touch glass back, was water-resistant, and had the Active Edge technology making it easy to access the Google Assistant. Hardware features of the Pixel 3 included a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a 2915 mAh battery. The camera hardware on the Pixel 3 was similar to the Pixel 2, with a 12.2MP dual-pixel camera on the back, but the front-facing camera setup on the Pixel 3 included an 8MP wide-angle along with the standard 8MP camera.

Pixel 2 XL

The Google Pixel 2 XL was released in October 2017 alongside the Pixel 2. The Pixel 2 XL was bigger in size as compared to the Pixel 2, and also included a bigger battery. But overall the feature set was similar. The Pixel 2 XL featured a 6.0-inch FHD+ OLED display, and a 3520 mAh battery. Other hardware features included the Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage space. Software related camera features included Night Sight, Portrait Mode, and HDR+, with the camera hardware being an 8MP front-facing camera and 12.2MP dual-pixel rear-facing camera.

Pixel 2

Google released the Pixel 2 in October 2017. The Pixel 2 arrived with features to include a 5.0-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage space. Other feature highlights include a 2700 mAh battery, and a metal unibody design that was water-resistant. The Pixel 2 launched running Android 8.0 Oreo and was introduced with a new feature called Active Edge, which allows you to get the Google Assistant by squeezing your phone. The Pixel 2 also had an 8MP front-facing camera with a 12.2MP dual-pixel rear camera. Camera features included Night Sight, Portrait Mode, and HDR+.

Pixel

The Google Pixel smartphone was introduced in October 2016 at the Made By Google event. The Pixel was a new line of Google devices, that served as the follow up to the Nexus brand. This initial Pixel arrived running Android 7.1 Nougat, and with hardware features to include a 5.0-inch AMOLED display (1080 x 1920), Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 128GB of storage and a 2770 mAh battery. A highlight of the Pixel line was the focus on the camera, and this model launched with an 8MP front-facing camera and a 12.3MP rear-facing camera with a f/2.0 lens and IR laser-assisted auto-focus.
