Google Pixel 4 Reviews

Fast, beautiful, simple!
Battery Life could be better but it is a great Smartphone
Phone is just as described
So far so good. I'm excited about this new phone. My Pixel 2 quit connecting to Verizon so I purchased the Pixel 4. I'll use my old phone for game and save my new phone a little.
size is perfect
The Pixel 4 and 4XL are currently (February 2020) the latest in Googles Pixel line of phones - their flagship models. As such, their list price at the higher end of the phone market, and many feel that the Pixel 3/3XL are a better value. I can't dispute that; the Pixel 3 is a fine phone, but I personally keep my phones for a lot longer than most people and the Pixel 3 is likely going to be showing it's age sooner than the Pixel 4 so I chose the later.
I upgraded from an original Pixel - it was over three years old and has performed well but it finally stopped receiving Android updates from Google, and many apps were very sluggish feeling when opening them. Between the two, the phones are nearly identical sizes and I was able to re-use my belt pouch (a well made "Turtleback" - highly recommended too), the only visible differences between them are the lack of the earphone jack, and the missing fingerprint sensor on the back.
I believe the quality of the phone is outstanding. I've dropped both Pixel models (the 1 and the 4) quite a few times and both survived without damaging to the front or rear glass except for one time with my original Pixel. I wish that the removal of the earphone jack would make them water-proof. As it is, the Pixel 4 is IP68 rated which means it is waterproof "up to one meter (3-feet) deep for up to 30 minutes". I haven't tried it, but I'm less nervous about using it in the rain, at the waterpark/pool, or when an errant glass of water will get spilled on it.
I thought I was going to miss the fingerprint reader and it was almost a dealbreaker but now that I have it, the facial recognition works great. I kind of miss the ability to unlock as I'm pulling it from my pocket, but that's made up for it by being able to un-lock it with gloves on or in the rain. And the face unlock is good enough to recognize me in different lighting situations and different hats.
The other thing I'm hoping will get more traction is the Soli radar chip for truly touch-less interaction (use your favorite search engine and search for "google pixel soli radar"). In the few times I've tried to use it, it doesn't work but that could just be me.
Overall, I'm really liking the phone. The deal I got through Swappa made it an excellent value purchase.
Love it! Google is the best.
Great phone. Love stock Android
I have no complaints about the pixel 4. It does everything I want, it's fast, fluid, has an amazing camera. I wish the battery lasted longer, but the same could be said of most of my portable devices. It's not something specific to the pixel 4.
Excellent phone fast shipping!!
It good but new ok give me time
The perfect upgrade.
