iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a larger display and is bigger and heavier than the iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro Max measures 6.33” in height, 3.07” in width, 0.30” in depth, and weighs 8.46 ounces. In comparison, the iPhone 11 Pro measures 5.67” in height, 2.81” in width, 0.32” in depth, and weighs 6.63 ounces. The display size on the iPhone 13 Pro Max is 6.7 inches, and the display size on the iPhone 11 Pro is 5.8 inches.

The camera hardware on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max is similar. However, the iPhone 13 Pro Max brings several features that are not available on the iPhone 11 Pro. Both models have a 12MP TrueDepth front-facing camera, and a Pro (triple) wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto rear-facing camera. Some of the added features on the iPhone 13 Pro Max include Apple ProRAW, Photographic Styles, macro photography and video, ProRes video, HDR video, and a Cinematic Mode for recording videos with shallow depth of field.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 6.7” Super Retina XDR (OLED) display, and the iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8” Super Retina XDR (OLED) display. These two models share many of the same display features, such as HDR, True Tone, wide color (P3), Haptic Touch, and a 1200 nits (HDR) max brightness. But while there are similarities, the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a key feature not found on the iPhone 11 Pro, which is ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz.

The iPhone 11 Pro has a 4,352 mAh battery capacity, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 3,046 mAh battery capacity. These capacities allow for up to 18 hours of video playback time or up to 65 hours of audio playback time on the iPhone 11 Pro, and up to 28 hours of video playback time or up to 95 hours of audio playback time on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. While the iPhone 13 Pro Max battery life is much longer, these two models are both fast-charge capable and support Qi wireless charging. The iPhone 13 Pro Max also supports Apple MagSafe charging.
