With all purchases on Swappa, an DOWNLOAD INVOICE button is provided on the private sale page. Included on this invoice and available on the private sale as well is the IMEI or serial number (for non cellular devices) of the device.

Unfortunately, this this is not correct information. I just purchased a phone and the IMEI was not listed on the invoice. I am now waiting and hoping that the seller provides the IMEI prior to shipping. Buyer beware! :-/

Can a Swappa Staff reply to the last comment? I find it to be important to me. Other than that, I have had important questions to ask the sellers which I can't because the comments section is off. Like " is the phone factory or carrier unlocked"? Because I really want to avoid additional bloat ware.

Did a deal with Rick’s istock. Told me a price before I sent the phone out and when he received the phone he low balled me made an excuse why he could only give me what he gave me. Was very transparent with them about the status of the phone never held back anything. I got paid but what he wanted to pay me not what we agreed on. Approach with caution

So if we can't ask in the posts, how can we contact the sellers or can we contact the sellers? I'm looking to get another phone, but it has to be bootloader "unlockable" And very few of the listings even mention that. One way or another.
