Google pixel 8 Unlocked Bootloader
Can anyone tell how to tell (maybe by the model/ serial number?) If a used Google pixel 8 has an unlockable bootloader? I wish more posts would mention whether or not the bootloader was capable of being unlocked.
all Pixels can be unlocked, but you want the ones that are factory unlocked. Some are Verizon unlocked which doesn't do what you need to install a different ROM. I just bought one that was advertised as factory unlocked & I couldn't unlock it. So I guess what we need to do is tell the vendor to check the phone before shipping & verify the fastboot screen says unlocked.
