Seller not coming through on their end

I recently purchase an item and the seller is refusing to send it. His responses/excuses are rather “weak”. At first he claimed he didn’t have time because of work so I said it was okay. He could ship at any time. He delayed this for almost a week. Then he said that he couldn’t fulfill the commitment on his side because it was “too much to handle”. I told him to take his time. I wasn’t in a rush. Then he said he didn’t have time to print up the label to ship the item out. What am I supposed to do at this point? I almost feel he has seller’s remorse and I would hate for him to back out of the sale just to turn around and try to resell the item without following through on my transaction
