iPhone 11Pro Max

Just ordered my mom an iPhone 11 Pro Max. When she turns it on, the screen turns red and it fades out and shuts off. It says the Apple display is not an Apple product. Will the seller have to warranty this? I’m not sure how to contact the seller.
