Prepaid At&T
I would like to know if I purchase a phone that it's locked with at&t can I use it with my prepaid sim card from at&t?
In general, locked AT&T phones should work with AT&T's own pre-paid plans. However, they usually won't work on MVNO carriers that use AT&T infrastructure as their host network.
However, since unlocked phones don't typically have a very large price premium, it's often worth it to spring for an unlocked model instead -- even if you already have a particular carrier in mind.
Going with an unlocked phone gives you the freedom to change carriers whenever a better phone plan deal pops up.
