Total price, including tax, can be found on the checkout page before actually purchasing the item.

• Find the listing you're interested in and click Buy Now.
• This takes you to the address confirmation screen, which displays the total price with tax included.

Why are taxes being charged on used goods from non-professional sellers? State laws do not require taxes on used good from individuals (up to a limit).

Faceofboe, we would prefer to not charge tax if we didn't have to! Unfortunately, tax laws in many states require all marketplaces to calculate and collect a Marketplace Facilitator Tax.

The Marketplace Facilitator Tax varies from state to state, and can be found on our State Sales Taxes page.
