How long will the iPhone 11 get iOS software updates?

The iPhone 11 has been Swappa's top-selling iPhone since September. This should come as no surprise -- the iPhone 11 is fast, sleek, has a great camera, and it's starting to get CHEAP!

When buying a used phone, it's important to consider how long it'll get software updates. Fortunately, the iPhone 11 should get software updates for several more years.

Apple released the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max in September 2019. Although Apple doesn't offer any sort of official software update timeline for iPhones, Apple typically provides 5 years of iOS software updates. This means that you can reasonably assume the iPhone 11 will be supported until at least mid-2024. That said, Apple often provides software updates for even longer, such as the 6S, which received 6 years of software updates.
