Shipping Policies

ECTDATA Shipping Policy for Electronics

1. General Shipping Information
- All items listed on Swappa (computers, laptops, networking equipment, monitors) are shipped only after they have been sold and payment has been confirmed.
- The seller is responsible for shipping the item within two business days from the date of purchase confirmation.
- Orders will be processed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

2. Shipping Methods and Costs
- Shipping costs are included in the sale price of the item.
- Items will be shipped using [preferred shipping service, e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS] with a trackable service and insurance.
- Expedited shipping options are available at an additional cost to the buyer.

3. Packaging Standards
- All items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. This includes the use of bubble wrap, foam, sturdy boxes, and static-free materials for electronic devices.
- Computers and monitors will be shipped in their original packaging when available. If original packaging is not available, the item will be packed in a box of appropriate size with ample padding.

4. Tracking and Delivery
- The tracking number will be provided to the buyer as soon as the item has been shipped.
- Sellers are responsible for ensuring the item is delivered to the address provided by the buyer in the purchase order.
- The seller is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect delivery addresses entered by the buyer.

5. International Shipping

- International shipping is not available.

6. Returns and Exchanges
- Returns must be initiated by the buyer within Swappa’s return policy period, which is typically within 7 days of receipt.
- The item must be returned in the condition it was received, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was not as described or was damaged during shipping.
- Exchanges are not supported directly through Swappa; a new purchase must be made.

7. Liability
- The seller is responsible for the item until it is delivered to the buyer.
- Insurance is mandatory for all shipped items to protect against loss or damage during transit.

8. Customer Service
- For any issues or questions related to shipping, buyers are encouraged to contact the seller directly through the Swappa messaging platform.
- Response time for inquiries is within one business day.

Return & Refund Policies

100% FREE RETURNS FOR DEFECTS/ISSUES

1. Buyers must follow all return policies to get full refund
2. All returned items must be in the same condition as sold item
3. Device returned must be factory reset & iCloud/Google email lock free
4. Any damage or alteration of device will result in voided warranty/return
5. If these policies are not followed, up to 50% restocking fees may apply
6. Buyer remorse returns are subject to 4% restocking fees (Paypal does not refund these fees to us)
