The seller stated 'Alterations: None – All parts are original' in their listing. Purchased the phone just 3 weeks ago.
I purchased an iPhone that was previously flagged by Apple as non-repairable due 'ownership chain' or a previous unauthorized repair. Battery health of the phone purchased i purchased dropped to unhealthy levels.. and authorized Apple service provider is unable to calibrate a new battery due to the IMEI have been flagged previously.
It is functioning but due to the Apple flagged phone, it gives unverified phone error. The seller stated they did meet the requirements for Swappa guidelines. Those guidelines should have to disclose that 'this phone might have been modified and may be flagged by Apple before selling it to people'

Defective or Misrepresented Items:
If a device arrives with a functional defect or condition issue that was not disclosed in the original listing description, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Once the item has been returned and inspected, a full refund will be issued.
All such issues must be reported within 14 days (2 weeks) of the delivery date.
Buyer's Remorse / Non-Defective Returns:
Returns requested for reasons unrelated to defects or listing inaccuracies (e.g., changed mind, wrong model purchased, etc.) will be subject to a 12.5% restocking fee. The buyer is responsible for return shipping in these cases.
Returned items must be in the same condition as received, with no alterations, iCloud/Find My iPhone locks, or damage caused post-delivery.
