Phonecheck certified devices must pass extensive testing to ensure that they are fully functional and fit for resale. Devices are then securely wiped and restored to factory condition.

- In the future, buyers will also be able to filter listings by Phonecheck status
Swappa’s strict listing requirements mean that buyers always get fully functional devices, ready for activation, and free from cracked screens or water damage. Phonecheck provides additional validation through its device diagnostics and certification process.
Phonecheck is fast, efficient, and thorough
Phonecheck improves your seller workflow. Phonecheck’s test suite is fully automated and can test multiple Apple or Android devices simultaneously – up to 40 devices per hour.
Phonecheck bypasses device activation wizards, checks for manufacturer and user account locks, and verifies IMEI numbers to make sure devices aren’t reported as lost, stolen, or placed on a carrier blocklist. Stringent testing helps you identify broken devices before they are sold, leading to fewer RMAs and decreased overhead.
After testing has finished, devices are securely wiped in compliance with ADISA data removal standards. Then, a Phonecheck device history report is generated, along with labels that integrate with your existing inventory management system.
