Did you attempt to unlock the extra bands missing for the US? If not, which service did you use this with and how did it perform in more rural areas?
I unlocked it just fine. no issues. I used it with Google Fi which uses T-Mobile and us cellular networks
I'll mention if your interested and want to get it I'd buy it tonight or tomorrow morning. I fly out Tuesday and won't be back home for a week. I can ship tomorrow if you get it tonight or in the morning Monday.
Been cross shopping options and pretty disappointed Sony doesn't make US versions anymore. I'm seeing similar spec versions on other sites that'll ship brand new devices for this same price. I'll be thinking it over.
