Was this the normal 3 year fixed AppleCare plan that is fully transferrable? Not annual or through best buy?

is the laptop factory reset? i wouldnt want to run into any issues regarding activation lock with the apple ID etc.

The unit is running a fresh copy of macOS Sonoma that was installed this morning when I got my new Mac. Activation lock is released and the unit will be cleaned and reboxed prior to shipment.
