Paypal will not accept payment for this phone. They said it violates some kind of practice of theirs and there’s some kind of risk? When I asked Swappa, they said to contact PayPal, who said to contact Swappa…vicious circle. Have you had this happen before? I really want to buy this phone. Suggestions?

Swappa, can you check with Paypal what is happening? Is it possible to consider an alternative payment method in this situation?

If PayPal is denying a payment, this is usually an issue related to the attempted buyer's PayPal account (sometimes related to their lack of a confirmed shipping address: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/shipping-address-outside).

While less common overall, the issue could also be related to the seller's PayPal account being limited, so both parties should reach out to PayPal's support team (preferably over the phone) to ensure their accounts are ready to send and receive payments respectively.
