what is the status of applecare? is this the entry level MacStudio or you did any upgrades when you ordered it?

There’s no AppleCare+ attached to this Mac Studio. This is an upgraded Mac Studio with 1TB SSD, instead of the base model with 512GB SSD.

There are way too many people entertaining themselves by haggling with no intention to buy. I just ordered m2 version for myself with 1tb from apple, eta July 6. You can pickup brand new m2 1tb with 30 cores and 15% speed improvement at just under 2k if you have someone in college. I figured if I picked up last year's version at 2/3 it would be worth it for my needs. If you think someone is serious at 1,550 then lower the price and see if they buy, otherwise in a month or so apple will be selling refurbished m2's and you'll keep chasing the price down. Plus there are transaction fees here that get tacked on whereas apple let's you get 3% discount on apple card and interest free loan for a year.
