Hey Jeff, how old is the laptop and for how long has it been used? Any warranty left? Thank you.

I purchased the laptop from ebay, approx mid July 2022; it has worked flawlessly since then. I had several Surface Pros in my line of IT work; the keyboard cover was purchased new in January 2022; the power supplies are from excess work product (handy to have extra). The scratch was from an unfortunate packing by someone else using the wrong case. I'm sure the serial can be crossed for the manufactured date. There is no warranty.

Oh alright, that helps a lot, thanks! Just one last thing before I finalise this (hopefully latest by tonight) - how come the battery cycle count is just 1 if this has had no repairs? Did you get a replacement unit from Microsoft recently? And if possible, could you also indicate the SSD life remaining? (can be found out via HWiNFO or CrystalDiskInfo). Thank you so much!

I did not know BC count indicates replacement value, I thought was only to indicate time left based on cycle rates, watthours, etc; if so, this was done before my ownership. However as previously indicated I had ownership since approx July. I don't get into all that, I just use & on this model (for SSD anyway) I simply swap SSD if issue, else I will confirm repair facility reputation before sending my tech stuff for repairs.
Will do another battery page & hwinfo tonight & post.

Evidently battery was replaced but this was before my possession; I'm only attentive to mwh design vs full-charge (+ a little math can estimate % of life left). Attached pics for your SSD software. I always have a backup or a way out (thus the removable SSD option of the 7+), but on both accounts to each their own on preferences. Usage on this was not heavy however it was thorough. Though I understand inquiries as this is a little more than a Pro 3.
