Do you know if it is still eligible to purchase the extended apple warranty through apple?
I just saw your line about contacting apple for warranty info David, sorry for missing that! If you have any info on how to find that would be much appreciated and will buy soon as I can find out about getting it covered with apple care!
Last question (I think, hopefully not being to much of a pest here) from what I saw an apple care plan can be transferred, do you have a plan number on it by chance? Or can share the original purchase date to find out if it qualifies for one? If you have the original receipt on it that would be ammmazing!
Just spoke with Apple. Are you able to transfer the apple care? They informed me that if you transfer it into the name of whoever purchases the laptop would be able to extend the warranty for a full 3 year coverage.
